Wells High School Alumni Association

Today's Wells High School, built in 1976.
The Wells High School Alumni Association is a non-profit all-volunteer organization whose mission is to provide scholarships to deserving Wells High School seniors as they pursue college and trade school education.
Wells High School alumni have held many reunions over the years since the first class graduated in 1903. At a reunion of a group of graduates from the 1940s, the idea came up to form an alumni association to raise money for scholarships. Several alumni met in 1998 and made ambitious plans to contact as many WHS alumni as possible, collect pledges and gifts, and present the first scholarships in 2003 as part of the 350th Anniversary of the Town of Wells. Their efforts were successful, and the organization has presented multiple scholarships every year since then.
