The Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit is located in our historic Meetinghouse at 938 Post Road (US Route 1) in Wells, Maine.

HOURS
Hours are listed at the bottom of the page. Please note that our hours vary depending on the season, so be sure to check for the latest information before your visit. We are usually closed during the coldest part of winter.
MUSEUM ADMISSION & TOURS
We offer guided tours of our Meetinghouse Museum during select hours as noted at the bottom of the page. Admission is free and donations are always welcome.
RESEARCH LIBRARY
Our library and archives are available whenever we're open. If you have research questions but are unable to visit, be sure to contact us. We will do our best to answer your questions.
PARKING
There is limited parking beside our driveway as well as the use of an additional parking lot next door.
ACCESSIBILITY
Our facilities include a wheelchair ramp at the rear entrance and a lift chair to the second floor where our library and archives are located.

Our Five-Year Capital Plan includes a project to install an elevator for full ADA access. Your donation will help us complete this project, making our library easier to access for all. Thank you!
